Overview

This MCU4 kit is designed to replace the failing CPU and RAM located in your original Seeburg MCU box.

Purpose

Your MCU has lots of common components that can still be sourced for repairs but the CPU can not and the RAM are very difficult to find. However with my new board you can not only replace the CPU but add new features to your original machine.

Key Features

This MCU4 module designed by Boilerbots provides the following key features:

1. Restore functionality to the original MCU, retaining the display and the keypad components.
2. Eliminates the need for credits or the pricing board.
3. Replaces the voltage regulators on the door that could have been damaged from the leaking batteries.
4. Adds random shuffle play through the keypad.
5. Adds wifi for a web interface with additional features:
   1. Play songs from any computer on the local home network.
   2. Enable/Disable any slot or side of a record.
   3. Download future updates automatically.

MCU Requirements

The MCU4 upgrade is meant to be installed in an original MCU box. This upgrade does require the MCU boards to have some functionality but not 100%. Full functionality of the original boards are not required because very little of the circuitry is utilized for operation after this upgrade.
