About
Team Boilerbots is a premier robot fighting team dating back to 1996. The team first began after Curt Meyers graduated from Purdue university. Purdue has a long history in sports and their teams nickname are the boilermakers. I came up with the name Boilerbots as an adaptation for my robot team. Please respect the Boilerbots ™ name.
We have built several robots for fighting. Their names in chronological order are Pokey, Kill-O-Amp, Jaws of Death and Counter Revolution.
Over the years there are been many contributors to the team. Building robots is hard work and I would like to acknowledge each person that has contributed in some way.
